Dr Jennifer Atchison
LEAD RESEARCHER, University of Wollongong
Jenny lives and works on Dharawal Country. She is an Associate Professor in Geography in the School of Social Sciences, University of Wollongong. She has a passion for plants and her research seeks to understand the place of plants in past, present and future lives. She has had the privilege of learning about people, plants and environmental change in Gajerong Country. More information

Dr Laura Hammersley
SENIOR RESEARCH OFFICER, University of Wollongong
Laura lives and works on Dharawal Country. She is a researcher in the Discipline of Geography and Sustainability, University of Wollongong. Laura has had the privilege of working with Indigenous Knowledge Holders in South India, Sabah Malaysia, and the Northern Territory.

Le-Anne Bannan
RESEARCH OFFICER (Spatial), University of Wollongong
Le-Anne is an Environmental Geography graduate completing a master’s of Geospatial Science at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). Her primary interest is to seek practical applications of geospatial science which accelerate efforts in social and environmental justice.

Laura Butler
PhD CANDIDATE, University of Wollongong
Laura is a PhD Candidate at the Australian Centre for Culture, Environment, Society and Space (ACCESS) at the University of Wollongong and the inaugural postgraduate Fellow of ACSPRI (Australian Consortium for Social and Political Research Incorporated). Laura’s PhD research is investigating biosecurity awareness and action in peri-urban horticulture in Australia’s Northern Territory.
